Ace Professionals is giving a rare offer for a high performing teacher and hardworking teacher of Mathematics.

Depending on qualification and experience (pro rata for part-time)

Working hours: 08.00 am -15.20 pm Monday to Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties shall be deemed to be included in the professional duties which a teacher
will be required to perform: –

Teaching and learning:

To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for Maths to students
To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.

To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
To contribute to the maximising of student attainment.
To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth..

Person Specification:

Knowledge:

  • Excellent subject knowledge
  • Full awareness of the current issues relating to the developments of the teaching science in schools
  • Knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum or a willingness to learn and explore this in your teaching.

Experience:

Proven teaching experience at the secondary level would be an advantage, but not essential.

Qualifications:

Appropriate qualifications for the post. The post may be suitable for an NQT or a main scale teacher.

  • Ability to teach Maths

  • Self-motivation, effective time management and the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Must be able to use initiative and work under pressure.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills and methods.

Assessments and Reports:

Providing or contributing to oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to individual pupils and groups of pupils except in instances where to do so might be regarded as compromising a teacher’s own position.

Staff Development/Training/Reviews/Meetings:

Participating, if required, in any scheme of staff development and performance
